The Haida HD687 is a touring, winter tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
This model improves winter performance. The multiple crossed pattern and the winter compound allow the tire to enhance the ice- and snow-covered road grip. These tread elements enable the tire to optimize traction on the road surface with extra biting edges. The strong winter compound and the multiple crossed pattern minimize the snow held in the footprint, which improves the road surface contact. The zigzag grooves disperse water, snow, and ice from the footprint, which enables the tire to upgrade the hydroplaning resistance.
The asymmetric tread pattern also ensures surface contact. The special tread design ensures road contact to improve steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's command, while the structure is secured against driving pressure affecting the tire. The special wide shoulder block pattern, with the siping details, improves the cornering and maneuvering ability. The ideal tread is able to maintain consistent contact with the driving surface, improving the handling power and vehicle's stability. This allows the driver to greatly control the vehicle through the performance.
The Haida HD687 guarantees a high driving comfort level. The durable compound and the asymmetric tread pattern work together to reduce road noise levels. The ideal tread design greatly enhances the tire's surface contact. The close road contact and the detailed tread design lower road noise levels heard in the vehicle's cabin. Thanks to the special tread design, the tire is able to generate a sound-canceling frequency, which promotes a quiet and comfortable performance. This allows the driver to excellently control the vehicle, without being disturbed by road noise levels.
